PP_513 That Ann Jermyn (513) was the mother of Robert Yallop (256)
Robert Yallop, son of Robert and Ann was baptised on 8 March 1701 in Strumpshaw. PP_512
Robert Yallop and Ann Jarmy (or Jermyn) married on 7 February 1699 in Surlingham, which is right across the river from Strumpshaw. M_1699
Robert and Ann Yallop had 4 children, Susan buried in Strumpshaw on 25 February 1700, Robert baptised on 8 March 1701 in Strumpshaw, Ann baptised on 2 May 1703 in Strumpshaw, and Mary baptised on 28 August 1718 (died 1729).
The Will of Roger Jermye, yeoman at Surlingham, Norfolk was proved on 13 December 1709 - in which he leaves a messuage in Bergh Apton to his wife for her life, and after her decease he intructs his grandson to sell it and divide the proceeds equally between his son John Jermye and his daughter Ann, wife of Robert Yallop. W_1711
The Will of Samuel Jermy, yeoman at Upton, Norfolk was proved on 12 May 1722 - in which he leaves 12p to Ann Yallop, daughter of Roger Jermy his late brother. W_1722
Robert Yallop was buried on 9 April 1724. D_1724
The Will of Robert Yallop, husbandman of Strumpshaw, Norfolk was proved on 21 May 1724 - in which he leaves all his goods to his wife Ann, and 2s. 6d. to his son Robert. W_1724
The Will of Roger Jermy, yeoman at Surlingham, Norfolk was proved on 12 May 1722 - in which he intructs his brother John to sell the messuage in Bergh Apton and divide the proceeds equally between himself and his aunt Ann, widow of Robert Yallop. W_1722
Ann Yallop, widow was buried on 20 December 1746. D_1746
No record of Ann Jermyn's baptism seems to survive, but Roger Jermyn had children baptised in Surlingham - Mary in 1673, Mary in 1679, Roger in 1680, and Mary in 1683.
Roger Jermyn and Mary Ward married on 12 May 1670 in Surlingham. M_1670
As Roger's children John and Ann survived him in 1709, they must have been born in the mid-1670s.
So the mother of Robert Yallop (256),
Ann Jermyn (513), born in c1678 in Surlingham?,
married to Robert Yallop (512) in 1699 in Surlingham,
died in 1746 in Strumpshaw, was the daughter of
Roger Jermyn (1026), and Mary (1027).

A_1649 1649-10-10 Surrender to the Manor of Bergh Apton, Norfolk (NRO/Manor Court Records, Copy, 2003) Thomas (2052) 1649
Transfer of messuage from Abraham Todd of Loddon, butcher to Thomas Jermy
It is found by the Homage of this Court that Henry ? out of Court upon the tenth day of October in the yeare of our lord 1649 accordinge to the custome of this Mannor doth surrender into the hands of the lord of this Mannor by the hands of Richard Cooke copihold tenante of this Mannor in the persons of ? Hillingeton and William Chambers likewise copihold tenants of this Mannor All that his messuage and halfe an acre of land with appurtenances holden of this Mannor To the use and behoofe of Abraham Todd of Loddon Butcher and his heires Whereupon att this Court cometh into Court the said Abraham Todd and craveth by the favour of the lord to be admitted tenante unto the saide messuage and halfe an acre of land witch the saide Henry Lindue? late had to him and his heires of the surrender of Richard Plowe ? att a Court here holden the ? day of October in the third yeare of the Reigne of the late Kinge Charles ? And he is admitted and to him the said Abraham Todd is deluded? thereof seizen by the rodd? to hold to him his heires and assignes att the will of the lord accordinge to the custome of this Mannor Saveinge the right ? and he giveth the lord a fine ? and maketh his fealtee ?
And afterward att this Court cometh into Court the saide Abraham Todd and surrendeth into the hands of the lord of this Mannor the saide messuage and halfe an acre of land by him the saide Abraham Todd before in this Court taken by us about in this Court appearth To the use and behoofe of Thomas Jermyn and his heires and assignes Whoe beinge present in Court craveth by the favour of the lord to be admitted tenante into the saide premisses And he is admitted and to him the said Thomas Jermyn is delivered thereof seizen by the court to hold to him his heires and assignes att the will of the lord accordinge to the custome of this Mannor Saveinge the right ? and he giveth the lord a fine ? and maketh his fealtee ?
CRW: This may be a purely financial transaction, but, as Anne the wife of Thomas Jermy was buried in Bergh Apton in 1663 (q.v.), they seem to have lived there, and Abraham Todd passed this property directly to Thomas Jermyn, it then going to Thomas and Anne's heirs, it could also be that Anne was the daughter or sister of this Abraham Todd.
